Day 1 Transfer In
You will be picked up at the airport and transfer to the Hotel in San Jose Down Town.
Day 2 Sarapiquí River Rafting
Early in the morning you will be picked up to do the Rafting at the Sarapiquí River, it will be a distance of 7.5 miles, and you will have the chance to see the fellowships of la Virgen and Chilamate. The Sarapiquí River is one of the most beautiful river in our country with a nice environment that surrounds it, during the tour you will be able to swim at the river and share with the flora and fauna that this Tour can offer you.
After the Rafting tour you will visit Arenal that is located in La Fortuna, San Carlos and enjoy an amassing view of the Arenal Volcano.
Day 3 Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge Tour
Visit the Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge that is considered to be one of the richest in biological diversity in Costa Rica. Here you can finds a great variety of resident and migratory birds plus three different species of monkeys, iguanas, slots, turtles and caymands.
When you came back from the tour you will received a 4x4 car to continue the rest of the trip by your own.
Day 4 Transfer from Arenal to Monteverde.
In Monteverde Costa Rica rain forest are found more than 100 species of mammals including 5 species of cats, over 400 species of birds including 30 kinds of hummingbirds, tens of thousands of insect species (over 5000 species of moths) and 2,500 species of plants (420 kinds of orchids). The area is acclaimed as one of the most outstanding wildlife refuges in the New World Tropics.
Day 5 Canopy Tour
You will participate in a full adrenaline day. Starting with a Canopy tour that consist in crossing the forest by cables and then you will recover the breath by making a walking tour on the suspension bridges.
You will have part of the afternoon and the hold night free so you can know a little bit more about the area.
Day 6 Transfer from Monteverde to Tamarindo Beach
You can be in Monteverde at the Hotel until 12:00 noon that is the check out time.
The aprox driving time from Monteverde to Tamarindo is around 4 hours, Tamarindo offers all the comforts and amenities demanded by the sophisticated traveler – restaurants, grocery stores, medical services and banking are only a short walk from any location in Tamarindo. Even with all the services now found in Tamarindo it has managed to maintain its rustic charm.
Day 7 Free day
You can approach this day to be at the beach and relax, or make any activity around Tamarindo by your own.
Tamarindo is one of the most popular beaches in Costa Rica for the great surf that you can do there; also it´s close the some volcanoes and national parks from Guanacaste.
Day 8 Free day
You can approach this day to be at the beach and relax, or make any activity around Tamarindo by your own.
Day 9 Transfer from Tamarindo to Manuel Antonio National Area
Manuel Antonio is a popular National Park, located 7 km southeast of the town of Quepos, in the central pacific coast. Although it is the smallest National Park in the country, it is the second most visited one, with 215.000 visitors each year. It is named after a spanish conqueror, and opened in 1972.
Day 10 Kayak & Snorkeling Tour.
This day begins with a kayak tour that consist in departure from Quepos dock surrounding the coast passing Islands and Inlets that are the matting refuges of many species of marine birds and then when you arrived Playa Vizands (A beautiful hidden bay) for snorkeling, this tour has a duration of 4 hours.
Day 11 Free day
You can approach this day to be at the beach and relax, or make any activity around Manuel Antonio by your own.
Day 12 Transfer from Manuel Antonio to Uvita
You can be at the Hotel until 12:00 noon that is the check out time.
Uvita is a 2 mile long beach very appropriate for swimming, snorkeling and other beach sports. Same as in other beaches from the area, the abundant vegetation around along with the enjoyable conditions of this beach attract many to visit this place. Uvita beach is part of the Ballena National Park
Day 13 Free day
Free morning, you can approach this day to be at the beach and relax, or make any activity around Uvita by your own
Few activities that you can make: whale and dolphin watching tours and also on sport fishing both inshore and offshore. Also a tour to Caño Island Biological reserve or to Corcovado National Park or if you like to take an adventure expedition, to Mangroves Swamps, you can see the wildlife and bird of this area.
Day 14 Transfer from Uvita to Los Santos Area
Los Santos Forest Reserve, some 80 km from the capital San José towards Southern Costa Rica
The small village of San Gerardo de Dota is only a few kilometers away. Constructed on the top of a hill in the middle of this valley full of Quetzals.
Day 15 Quetzal Watching tour
Early in the morning you will go find “The Quetzal” this beautiful famous for being a colorful bird and for his long tale.
After the tour you will have breakfast and leave to the Sarapiquí Area
Transfer from Los Santos Area to Sarapiquí.
Northern Zone, just 1 hour and 15 minutes from San José. Its nearness to Braulio Carrillo National Park and the imposing rivers surrounding it, make this place a sanctuary for the lovers of nature, peace, equestrian activities, and adventure sports.
Day 16 Free Day
You can approach this day to be at the forest and relax, or make any activity around Sarapiquí by your own.
Some of the activities that you can do here: horseback riding, canopy, butterfly farm, cascades and a swimming pool of refreshing natural waters.
Day 17, 18, 19 Time to visit the Caribbean Coast
After your visit around Sarapiquí Area you will have the chance to know the Caribe Area and Afro- Caribbean people, whose music and gastronomy you will enjoy in the villages of Cahuita, Puerto Viejo and Gandoca Manzanillo.
You can enjoy adventure activities as well as the natural history on these beautiful paradisiacal beaches. There are outstanding coral reefs, multicolored- sandy beaches.
Day 20 Transfer from Caribe Area to San Jose
